Wiseway extends trucking service for Xiamen Airlines

Wiseway Group will extend its strategic partnership with Xiamen Airlines to provide national bonded interstate trucking services from next month.

The Australian integrated logistics firm has been acting as the cargo sales agent for China’s sixth largest airline since July 2016.

Xiamen Airlines operates seven flights a week from Fuzhou and Xiamen to Sydney, and five to Melbourne from Fuzhou, Hangzhou and Xiamen.

Wiseway operates daily services between all major Australian cities, and will extend existing international services from Fuzhou, Hangzhou and Xiamen to other major cities including Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Roger Tong, CEO and co-founder says: “This agreement further extends our long-term strategic partnership with Xiamen Airlines. Through leveraging each company’s core competencies to enhance its competitive advantage, the partnership seeks to increase our share of the expanding Australian import air cargo market, driven by the rapid growth in e-commerce.”
