Turkish Cargo moves Sao Paulo flights to Viracopos

Turkish Cargo is moving operations in Sao Paulo away from Guarulhos International Airport to Viracopos International Airport.

Viracopos is located near Campinas, which is considered Brazil’s scientific, technological and industrial development centre.

Exports from Sao Paulo include dried milk, vitamin pills, fruit and vegetables, poultry, unprocessed leather, automobiles and spare parts to Asia and the Middle East.

Imports to Sao Paulo consist of mobile phones and accessories, automobiles and accessories, mechanical and petrochemical products, and textiles among other items.

Turkish Cargo, which will serve flight to Campinas with Boeing 747s and 777s says strong demand for perishables from Europe and textiles in Asia and the Middle East will make Sao Paulo an important destination.
