Turkish Cargo launches flights to Bangalore

Turkish Cargo is continuing to extend its network with flights to Bangalore, the third largest city in India.

The airport serving Karnataka’s state capital has an export capacity of 170,000 tonnes, and Turkish Cargo will be operating an Airbus A330-200 Freighter on the route.

Bangalore is known as the Silicon Valley thanks to exports of electronic goods including IT equipment, computer and hi-tech products, as well as parts for the aerospace industry.

The area is also known for exports of pharmaceuticals, perishable goods including fruit and vegetables, electronics, engineering, valuable items and textiles.
