Swiss WorldCargo approves CSafe RAP containers

Swiss WorldCargo has approved the use of CSafe RAP active temperature-controlled containers for its wide-bodied aircraft fleet.

The CSafe RAP utilises ThermoCor Vacuum-Insulated Panels technology with a compressor-driven cooling and radiant heating system.

The cargo chamber can manage four standard US pallets or five Euro pallets, and includes an extended battery life or more than 120 hours.

Susanne Wellauer, head of pharmaceuticals and healthcare vertical industry management at Swiss WorldCargo says: “Swiss WorldCargo is delighted to allow CSafe RAP containers onboard our aircraft. Our partnership underscores not only a continued focus on quality in shipping temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical goods worldwide every day, but also our dedication to finding the best solutions for doing so.”

Jeff Pepperworth, CEO of CSafe Global says: “Adding Swiss WorldCargo to our directory of airline partners approved to fly the CSafe RAP certainly extends our ability to serve more life-science customers with this state-of-the-art air cargo container solution.”
