Strike Aviation, the international air cargo company, is bolstering its position in the trans-Atlantic air cargo market with the commencement of its representation services for Icelandic airline PLAY in the United States. PLAY currently operates flights from Reykjavik to Boston, Washington, and Baltimore, offering convenient connections between North America and Europe.
PLAY, an Icelandic low-cost airline, has become a key player in the North American and European travel sectors. With this strategic collaboration, Strike Aviation is proud to expand its partnership with PLAY Airlines, having already successfully represented them in Poland.

“This represents an important leap in our partnership with PLAY Airlines. We are confident that this collaboration will not only fortify Strike’s position in the United States but also unlock opportunities for further expansion in Latin America, one of our vital business hubs,” said Andrius Antanaitis, Director of Business Development for Europe at Strike Aviation.
In recent years, Strike Aviation has enjoyed significant productivity, forging valuable agreements with airlines operating in crucial destinations worldwide. “As we continue to expand our network, we solidify our competitive stance in the market, providing us with confidence and stability, particularly during periods when we may experience the impact of economic slowdown in the GSSA market,” added Antanaitis.

During the past year, Strike Aviation has achieved several important agreements and successful alliances, including a strategic Representation agreement with leading US air freight company Amerijet International, an expanded partnership with LOT Polish Airlines, and the provision of services to Air Canada cargo flights in Costa Rica, among others.
