SAS has unveiled a highly anticipated new route for summer 2025. Starting 27th June, SAS will offer direct flights from Copenhagen to Nuuk, Greenland, enhancing connectivity to this unique Arctic destination.
The new route aligns with the opening of Nuuk’s international airport later this year, marking SAS’ return to Greenland after more than two decades. The initiative strengthens travel connections to and from Greenland and SAS destinations worldwide.
Through its existing commercial agreement with their partner Air Greenland, SAS connects Greenland to its broader network, enhancing access to SAS global network. This also underscores SAS’ commitment to strengthening travel opportunities across the Arctic.
“We’re thrilled to enhance connectivity between Greenland, Scandinavia and destinations worldwide through our SkyTeam alliance,” says Anko van der Werff, President and CEO of SAS.
