SAS to launch Stockholm Arlanda – Stuttgart flights

SAS will start services from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Stuttgart Airport, with six flights a week on the route from 26 March 2017.

Swedavia, the state-owned group that owns operates and develops 10 airports across Sweden including Arlanda says Stuttgart and the Baden-Wurttemberg region is home a large cluster of companies in areas such as automotive, automation, clean tech and IT.

It also says Stockholm and Stuttgart both have blooming industries and are home to well-known companies and brands, meaning a strong business base both from the Swedish and German markets.

Swedavia director of aviation business, Elizabeth Axtelius says: “We are very pleased that SAS starts operating this direct route from Stockholm Arlanda. The Stuttgart and Stockholm connection has long been unserved and there has been a great demand for a direct route.”
