Roberto Alvo assumes the presidency of ALTA

The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) has announced the election of Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM Airlines, as the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the period 2024-2025.

“We are honoured to have Roberto as president of ALTA. His strategic vision and track record of innovative leadership will guide ALTA’s initiatives to contribute to strengthening aviation in a sustainable, sustainable and efficient manner,” said Jose Ricardo Botelho, CEO of ALTA.

“ALTA has been growing steadily and strengthening its work to develop a service that is essential in Latin America and the Caribbean. Aviation is not only an engine of socio-economic growth, but often the only available transport option for the population. Together we will continue working so that more and more people can use air transport; the safest, most efficient and increasingly sustainable means of transport,” says Alvo.

ALTA thanks Adrian Neuhauser, CEO of Abra Group, for his dedication, guidance and support during the presidency of ALTA. Neuhauser remains on the ALTA Executive Committee as Vice President, along with Pedro Heilbron – CEO, John Rodgerson, CEO Azul, Tracy Cooper, CEO Bahamasair and Andres Conesa, CEO Aeromexico.
