Remembering Mac Warner: Founder of Pace International

The airfreight industry is mourning the loss of Mac Warner, who formed GSA Pace International and later joined the ECS Group. Warner passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and leadership that shaped the global air freight community. Air Cargo Week extends its deepest condolences to Mac Warner’s family, friends, and colleagues.

His leadership was crucial in establishing a significant ECS Group presence in Germany, and he was among the first to create an international network of General Sales Agents across the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Ukraine. 

Mac joined ECS Group in 2002 when Pace International, which he founded in 1984, was acquired.

His leadership was crucial in establishing a significant ECS Group presence in Germany, and he was among the first to create an international network of General Sales Agents across the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Ukraine.

Once part of ECS Group, Mac was pivotal in introducing one of the first global products to the group through his collaboration with Ukraine International. Mac’s initiative and dedication have left an indelible mark on ECS Group and the industry at large.

Mac’s funeral will take place at Oxford Crematorium on Monday, 17 June, at 2pm.
