Pravin Singh appointed as Riyadh Air’s global head of cargo

Riyadh Air has appointed Pravin Singh as its new global head of cargo, as the Saudi-based airline looks to set a new standard in flying.

“Pleased to share that I have now completed my first week in the office as Global Head of Cargo at Riyadh Air,” Singh wrote on LinkedIn.  “The excitement and enthusiasm around me is clearly infectious and I’ve met with some incredible colleagues who I’m looking forward to collaborating with.”

Prior to joining the airline, Singh worked for Able Freight Services as its Senior Vice President Commercial and IAG Cargo as its Vice President Commercials Americas.

Established in March 2023 by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, Riyadh Air is looking to launch commercial flights next year out of its King Khalid International Airport hub, having agreed an order of 39 Boeing wide body 787-9 Dreamliners with an option for 33 additional aircraft, as well as an order for 60 Airbus A321neos.
