NAS and Sri Lankan Airlines transport fish maws to Hong Kong

Network Airline Services office in Uganda has successfully operated three flights with Sri Lankan Airlines out of Entebbe loaded with fish maws, which are considered to be one of the top four delicacies of the sea in Asian Culture, bound for Hong Kong (HKG).

Sri Lankan Airlines operated various ad-hoc charters into Entebbe, a destination they don’t usually fly to but within 24 hours Sarah Wangui, managing director of NAS Nairobi and the wider Entebbe team took advantage of this opportunity and generated a load consisting of fish maws across 135 pieces.

John Gilfeather, sales director of NAS said: “This is great work from the team in Uganda, where they reacted so quickly in such a short space of time to secure cargo ready for these flights!”

The charter flights operated with an Airbus A333 passenger aircraft out of EBB, with the first flight departing on the February 23 2021.
