Lufthansa Cargo starts Sharjah to HK freighter service

Lufthansa Cargo and freight handler Sharjah Aviation Services are to start an MD-11 freighter service connecting Sharjah International Airport to Hong-Kong International Airport – the world’s busiest airfreight hub.

The twice weekly service will operate from the UAE airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the 2016/17 winter schedule.

Sharjah Aviation Services operates a 24,000 square metre cargo facility and an 8,800 square metre storage area for freight forwarders. It also runs road feeder services with Wallenborn Transports Group to Amman, Dammam, Jeddah, Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.
