logitrans highlights Turkey’s key role in global logistics

With the logistics sector gathering at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, logitrans 2023 opened its doors to the industry in Turkey.

“As we gather here in the vibrant city of Istanbul, the crossroads of two continents, we celebrate not only the significance of this event but also the pivotal role that Turkey plays in international supply chains,” Robert Schoenberger, Messe Munchen’s global industry lead transport logistic and air cargo, said at the opening ceremony.

With its strategic geographical location, Turkey acts as a natural bridge between two continents, creating a nexus for global trade. The nation’s unique position has solidified its status as a vital player in international supply chains, facilitating the seamless movement of goods and services across borders.

Turkey’s robust infrastructure and connectivity have further positioned it as an attractive hub for logistics activities, fostering an environment conducive to the growth and expansion of international logistics companies.

In recent years, the Turkish logistics sector has undergone a remarkable transformation. Embracing innovation and technology, the country has made substantial investments in developing state-of-the-art logistics facilities.

“This commitment to excellence has elevated the quality of Turkish logistics companies, making them key players in the global logistics landscape,” Schoenberger continued.

The logitrans trade show, running from 15-17th November, serves as a testament to the dynamism of the logistics industry in the region. As the only international trade show in the Eurasian corridor, logitrans provides a unique platform for both exhibitors and visitors.

For exhibitors, it offers unparalleled access to a diverse and growing market, creating opportunities for networking, collaboration, and business expansion. Visitors, on the other hand, will have the chance to explore a comprehensive showcase of the latest technologies, trends, and solutions in the logistics sector, enhancing their knowledge and fostering innovation within their operations.

Recognising Turkey’s vital role in shaping the future of international supply chains, logitrans 2023 stands as a beacon of collaboration and progress. The event unites industry leaders, innovators, and visionaries, highlighting the strategic significance of the region.

Throughout the show, participants will engage in discussions, forge connections, and share knowledge, contributing to the continued success of the logistics industry, not just in Turkey but across the globe.

“As we embark on this journey over the next few days, I am confident that the connections made and the knowledge shared will contribute to the continued success of the logistics industry, not just in Turkey but across the globe,” Schoenberger added.
