Frankfurt sees small dip in January

Frankfurt Airport has seen cargo volumes dip by 0.1 per cent to 159,650 tonnes in January, while other Fraport operated airports have generally seen positive results during the month.

At its other airports, Ljubljana Joze Pucnik International Airport saw a 6.4 per cent rise in January to 751 tonnes, with Lima’s Jorge Chavez International Airport increasing by one per cent to 24,428 tonnes.

At Fraport’s Bulgarian airports, Burgas Airport increased by 100 per cent to 1,414 tonnes while Varna Airport fell by 11.2 per cent to six tonnes.

Hannover-Langenhagen Airport, which Fraport has a 30 per cent share in, rose by 2.5 per cent to 1,581 tonnes while Xi’an Xianyang International Airport, which Fraport has a 24.5 per cent stake in, surged by 40 per cent to 23,042 tonnes.
