ECS Group manages operations for Nok Air

Thai low-cost carrier Nok Air has concluded a Total Cargo Management agreement with ECS Group to manage capacity sales and operations on routes.

Through ECS Group’s network and TCM expertise, Nok Air will increase its cargo revenue, export volumes from Thailand and international transhipment cargo volumes to make full use of capacity on its fleet of Boeing 737-800s.

Nok Air operates 65 flights per week from Don Muang International Airport to international destinations including Ho Chi Minh City, Yangon, Nanning, Nantong and Zhengzhou.

The six-person team dedicated to Nok Air, AVS GSA TH plan to link traffic and services with the airline’s network as well as interline partners from Don Muang.

The agreement between the two parties was signed at the Nok Air headquarters in Bangkok with the airline being represented by CEO Wutthiphum Jurangkool and chairman of the executive committee Pravej Ongartsittigul.

ECS Group was represented by CEO of Indochina region for AVS GSA, Monchai Jirakiertivadhana, and managing director of AVS GSA TH Chirasak Chandratat.

Jirakiertivadhana says: “our investments in digitalisation and in tailor-made services, especially in TCM services, allow us to provide total and complete management of all cargo activities, supported by digital solutions and tools to improve the airline’s business development. We are delighted to represent such a dynamic airline and are also proud of the trust Nok Air has placed in us.”
