CargoLogicAir sends extra crew to speed up adsorbent delivery

CargoLogicAir sped up the delivery of 96 tonnes of adsorbents to Saudi Arabia to improve process economics at industrial gas plants by sending extra aircrew to Rome to avoid delays due to crew rest.

The airline was contracted by DHL Global Forwarding’s charter desk to operate a Boeing 747 Freighter flight from Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino International Airport to Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport, and it sent an extra crew to Rome to avoid delays due to crew rest in Italy.

CargoLogicAir chief commercial officer, Steve Harvey says: “As soon as the cargo arrived at the airport from Milan we were able to complete the loading quickly ahead of the four-hour flight to Jeddah. This is a good example of how we can be responsive and flexible to meet our customers’ charter requirements.”

The UOP MOLSIVTM APG-III Adsorbent is a molecular sieve with enhanced CO2 adsorption capacity for air pre-purifiers.

UOP adsorbents for air separation and other industrial gas plants help improve process economics.

The high adsorption capacity and selectivity of these adsorbents can reduce capital and operating costs for plants producing high purity gases such as O2, N2, H2 and CO.
