Bolloré Logistics expands presence in Myanmar

Bolloré Logistics has expanded its presence in Myanmar with a logistics centre in Mingaladon, located near Yangon’s airport and seaport terminals.

The warehouse has a surface area of 6,000 square metres and equipped with security guards 24/7. It also has CCTV, fire protection, seven loading bays and forklifts, and the warehouse will specialise in industries such as garments, telecoms and medical equipment. Bolloré has operated in Myanmar since 2014 and has an office in downtown Yangon and the Mingaladon warehouse.

Bolloré Logistics Myanmar director, Elizabeth Shwe says: “This is a worthy investment in view to reinforce our presence in Myanmar, and it will enable us to offer more value-added services to our customers such as kitting, packing, labeling, price tagging, and delivery nationwide.”

Bolloré Logistics Myanmar general manager, Julien Loiret says: “Following our successes and developments in Telecom and medical equipment, it was much needed to continue investing in order to cope with the continuous increase of garment needs.”
