ATSG extends leasing and operating deal with DHL

Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) has extended agreements to lease 14 Boeing 767s to DHL and operate eight of those in North America for three years.

The agreement includes extending 11 leases between DHL and ATSG’s leasing subsidiary Cargo Aircraft Management.

Leases for six 767-200s operated by a DHL affiliate airline in the Middle East will continue until March 2022.

Five other 767s operated by ATSG affiliate ABX Air, including four 767-300s and one 767-200s were extended to April 2022, and three other 767-300s that ABX Air operates are leased to DHL into 2023/24.

The deal also includes extending the operating agreement with DHL by ABX and CAM through to April 2022, having provided crew, maintenance and insurance operations for DHL’s North American network since August 2003.
