AIA wins GSSA deals with Aerolineas Argentinas and Pegasus

Airbridge International Agencies (AIA Cargo) has won two general sales and service agent (GSSA) contracts.

The GSSA will sell cargo for Aerolineas Argentinas on services in the UK/Ireland and for Pegasus Airlines on services to Austria. Both contracts started on 1 September.

Aerolineas operates a daily widebody flight ex Madrid and also four to five a week connections via Cancun (Mexico) and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) all with Airbus 330 A340 widebody aircraft.

It has onward connections from Buenos Aires to across Argentina and international South America destinations.

AIA Cargo will market and promote the services of Pegasus in Austria, which operates a more than daily programme of flights from Istanbul to Vienna with Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320 aircraft.

The carrier has onward connections from its hub in Istanbul to the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Asia. AIA will be able to offer a wide network for the Austrian freight forwarding community.
