Asia Airfreight Terminal receives Gold Award

Asia Airfreight Terminal has won the Gold Award in Privacy-Friendly Awards 2023, organised by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Personal Data Hong Kong (PCPD). The Award Presentation Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and was officiated by Mr. Eric Tsang Kwok Wai, GBS, IDSM, JP. the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs.

The PCPD organized the inaugural Privacy-Friendly Awards in 2021. The second Privacy-Friendly Awards 2023, under the theme of “Embrace Privacy Management Programme to Gain Trust and Benefits”, aims to recognize the commitment and efforts of enterprise, public and private organizations, as well as government departments in protecting personal data privacy.

At AAT, we take pride in upholding the highest standards of privacy and data protection through a range of comprehensive measures. These measures include appointing a Data Protection Committee, implementing internal protocols on personal data processing, establishing policy and system to notify of data security breaches, providing our personnel with trainings on personal data privacy, and more. The prestigious award serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment to safeguarding the personal data of our customers and employees. Furthermore, it serves as an inspiration for us to persistently strive for excellence in promoting privacy-friendly practices and implementing robust measures for privacy protection.
