Kestrel chicks rescued from Airbus

A pair of kestrel chicks have been rescued from the exhaust system of an Airbus A320 that was under going repairs in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales.

The hungry chicks had not eaten for several day when engineers found them nestled in the exhaust pipe.

RSPCA Insp Simon Evans told the BBC: “I have no doubt they were rescued just in the nick of time. Kestrels are less common than a lot of people think – but rescuing any animal from an aircraft is certainly a new one on me.”
