For the 22nd consecutive year, Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) presented a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to the Greater Rockford Airport Authority for its Annual Budget for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2020.
GRAA deputy director of finance and administration, Michelle Cassaro and the finance staff produced the award-winning financial report.
In order to receive this award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, as a financial plan, as an operations guide, and as a communications device.
“Each year, our finance department does an outstanding job to provide insight and transparency on the airport’s finances,” commented RFD Director Mike Dunn.
“We continue to be diligent in our efforts for our taxpayers and our region through our annual financial reporting.”
